Just as I suspected, the pond has begun to thaw already. It’s really lovely, even if the kiddos are seriously disappointed. Daniel had his ice skates all picked out and couldn’t understand why I wouldn’t buy them. Poor fellow.
On the bright side, the weather is wonderful and I’ve even had my bedroom window open for a little while. I love the fresh, brisk air. It’s a good day for sewing and dreaming up my 2010 garden.

It's beginning to thaw here today, after weeks of freezing, snowy weather. I've started to think about what seeds to start off in the house and wonder what state my veg plot is in, I haven't been up the garden for weeks!
